Outside of the classroom and the lab I am also involved in a number of other projects and organizations. My plan is to list the ones I am most actively involved in here with a little bit of information about each. For some I may have more to say about what I do so I may also write a blog post, which will be linked.
American Medical Association (AMA)
I have been active in the AMA since entering medical school and have been involved at a state and national level (writing policy) and also at our chapter level. Within our chapter I have helped organizing and run networking events and invited speakers, and have been involved in our community service projects.
